I've been told other people have today off. Hope you're having a lovely holiday! I'm sitting here growling over the gray gloom and falling temperatures and a book that is resisting falling into shape. I suppose I could buzz off and write the two blogs that are due or finish up my taxes or box up books my publicist is expecting--but wait, there's no mail, so I can't send those. Oh well. In other words, I'm working, sort of.
How is everyone else spending the holiday (besides not mailing anything)? Oh, and as I look out my window, I see UPS is apparently working. The truck is stopping outside, probably delivering page proofs to edit. Wonder if I could do them from Cabo? Anyone ready to rent a jet and go south until this winter ends?
