Just a note to let you know one of my very earliest titles has just come out in e-book format. This was an early Signet Regency. In the original story, the heroine was blind. My editor picked that month to pitch a fit over all the authors giving her the handicap-of-the-month books and made me find another flaw. All my lovely scenes where the heroine described her surroundings through touch and sound and smell became meaningless. This was back in the days of typewriters, folks! I did my best to edit back then and had another opportunity when I proofread the e-book, but I'm still shaking my head in dismay. And I gave up trying to fix the headhopping, too. If you want a look at early Regencies and all the errors we committed and the rules we were allowed to break, here it is!
