My newsletter talking about MYSTIC RIDER just went out today, and I vaguely understand that I ought to have a new post here so readers clicking on the link will have fresh fare. So I scratched my head to think of something controversial that hundreds of readers will latch onto and spread all over the internet.
Unfortunately, I'm not feeling particularly snarky today. It's been a gorgeous day, perfect weather. I have two historical proposals just completed, ready to go out upon request. And I finally have time to do some research on a play project featuring pre-Mayan history. How can I snark about that? (I could gripe about my internet provider that keeps dropping out so my autosave feature doesn't work, but I'm feeling too good to even go there today.)
So I'll just ask--how many of you have seen the new Indiana Jones movie? That's the era I've been researching and working into a story. Has the time come for ancient history to become popular?
