The kids are coming in for the week so absolutely no writing will get done. Here is one advantage of the writing life--one can schedule holidays as needed instead of when required! (Of course, one also ends up writing in the middle of the night and through other major holidays, but we will not discuss that today.)
We're seeing stirrings of life in the book world--perhaps editors coming back from sales meetings and realizing they have to clear off their desks before the new year? It remains to be seen...
